Hallmarking Information

Hallmarking is a legal requirement in the UK to sell precious metals such as Gold, Silver, Palladium and Platinum over a certain weight, detailed below.

Gold 1 gram

Silver 7.78 grams

Palladium 1 gram

Platinum 0.5 grams

It’s also your guarantee that the metal I use is real. My branding may be green but your fingers won’t be!

I am registered with the Birmingham Assay Office and my sponsor mark is my initials - JLM.

The Birmingham Assay Office has been a centre of excellence for assessing jewellery and precious metals for 250 years.

All items I sell over the weights listed above will be laser hallmarked by the Birmingham Assay Office. Items under these weights such as skinny stacker rings and smaller pendants wont be hallmarked as standard to reduce costs however, you can request underweight items to be hallmarked for an additional cost of £38. Items need to be sent to the Assay Office in order to be hallmarked therefore please bear this in mind if you need your item by a certain date.

All items that have been hallmarked will be clearly marked in the product description and I try to include in the photographs where possible.
